Moving Kiwanis Forward
I am proud member of Kiwanis, the greatest service organization in the world. Kiwanis has provided me the opportunity to serve my community, my District and Kiwanis International. I look forward to continuing to open new clubs and strengthen Kiwanis.
I am a long-time believer in growing our organization. I have served as our District’s Campaign for Growth Chair, our Formula Chair, the Kiwanis International Membership Committee Chair, and now I am serving as the Eye of the Tiger Chair for North America. All of us can be proud that our 5-year Formula/Eye of the Tiger initiative ended with positive growth and more new clubs opened than in decades before. More Kiwanians mean more Kiwanis service.
It is important that our leadership does more than “talk the talk”. We must “walk the walk” and lead by example; holding ourselves accountable to ensure success. To that end we must be vigilant in our quest for inclusiveness. When looking for new Kiwanians we look for passionate, caring people with big Kiwanis Hearts. We look for those who truly want to improve the world one child and one community at a time. We must strive to make them feel welcomed and included with all that we do. Our Kiwanis clubs should reflect the communities that they serve and proudly welcome all of those who are willing and able to help out.
I look forward to continuing to work with enthusiastic Kiwanians as we open more clubs and invite more people to our ever-growing Kiwanis family.
I pledge to continue to work diligently on your behalf as we strive to improve the world, one community and one child at a time.
